Q.If I am a private individual & not a licensed dealer, how can I buy a gun over the internet?
A. This is actually a simple process. the transfer or sale of a firearm over the internet or interstate must be handled by licensed dealers. The individual looking to purchase or transfer a firearm finds a licensed dealer of his or her choice in their area. To do the transaction, the dealer shipping the firearm to you would need an originally signed copy of the receiving dealer’s FFL (federal firearms license). Once the shipping dealer receives that, the dealer can ship the gun to the receiving dealer. You would then pick up the gun from the receiving dealer according to the laws of your state governing the sale of firearms

Q. How do I pay for a gun I have just bought or transferred?
A. Normally, if this is a regular purchase, you would send in advance or with the copy of the FFl, a certified check, check or money order to the dealer from whom you are purchasing the gun. You might also use a credit card or the gun might be shipped c.o.d

Q. What is the difference between a purchase & a transfer of firearms?
A. The only difference is that a purchase is a gun that you don’t own that you are buying for a price from someone & a transfer is a gun that you already own that you are transferring to another location. The same rules above apply. The transaction must be handled by licensed dealers. You might pay a transfer fee to the dealers involved in the transaction. This fee is negotiable between you & the dealers involved in the transaction

Q. What is the return policy of firearms or other merchandise?
A. You would have to look at the terms of sale the seller has included in his sales & return policy.
